Grapes: 100% Moscato Bianco
Zone of production: West Sicily
Vinification and Ageing: The sun-dried grapes on the vine, hand-picked in the first ten days of October, are de-stemmed and cryo-macerated for about 8/10 days, until the desired alcohol content and residual sugar level are reached. The fermentation is stopped by refrigeration, after which the wine ages in stainless steel tanks for about 4 months, then it evolves in bottle.
Description: Bright and brilliant golden colour. At the nose it is intense and persistent, with pronounced scents of syruped apricots and peaches; reveals delicate notes of flowers and honey of zagara, followed by sweet aromas of dried dates and figs. Full-bodied on the palate with a perfect balance between sweetness and acidity. A wine that encloses in itself the sun, warmth and radiance of its land.
How to serve: In tulip-shaped goblets of medium size. Uncork at the moment of serving. Excellent at 12-14 °C.
