Grapes: 75% Nero D’Avola – 25% Syrah

Vinification and Ageing: The grapes are crushed and destemmed and the must is fermented at controlled temperature (25 °C) in stainless steel tanks with frequent “pumping-over” and “delestages” for 10 days; the wine is then racked in French oak barrels where it ages for 12 months. After bottling it ages for further 9 months before market release.

Description: Deep blue with violet nuances. The nose reveals notes of cherry, blackberry and mulberry with remarkable complexity; on the palate is spicy, luscious, all-embracing and velvety.

How to serve: Serve at a temperature between 16° and 18°C in average size stem glasses.
