GRAPES: 100% Perricone produced in the Partinico territory, in Contrada Mirto area at about 400
meters above sea level.
VINIFICATION AND FINING: The grapes are harvested by hand in 14 kg crates between the second and third decade of October, with a careful selection of the best, both on the plant and in the cellar, evaluating any over-ripening. They are destemmed, then macerate and ferment cold at around 12-13° C. It ages two months in second and third passage barriques , then two months in concrete tanks.
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 13 % by vol.
WINE DESCRIPTION: With an intense ruby red color, on the nose emerge spicy and fruity notes of morello cherry and plums, with hints of tobacco and ginger. Pleasant, engaging, full and captivating on the palate, the wine is complex and elegantly persistent. Serve at a temperature between 16° and 18°C in average size stem glasses.
